Mountains of Nepal

There are 8 mountain peaks above 8000 metres as a cap of Nepal’s head. We, Nepalese people, wear them as our pride. Bordering our country with white peaks conquering those mountains is full of adventure and life experience or achievement. Coming down to the hilly region slightly to the lower altitude, green hills are a sight you don't want to leave. The villages there are still wrapping their tradition and culture. Their festivals, beliefs and foods are something different from modernization and a great opportunity to experience true Nepal. People still give priority to their local language, food and culture. Staying with them and being a part of their culture is something you should experience. You can even conquer mountains like Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu. Trekking to base camp only can be a great adventure and you can experience the true nature of Nepal.

Manang and Mustang

Mustang and Manang, two districts in the north bordering China, remain untouched, in my opinion. The landscapes, views, and people are all amazing. The best time to visit is when the apples are being harvested or the buckwheat (phapar) is in bloom. You must try the local wines made from a special grain known as "uwa." Uwa is a grain similar to barley, and the drink is best prepared in the winter by combining it with hot ghee and other ingredients called "Jhawai Khatte". Another unique beverage is apple brandy, which is made from apples grown in Mustang. It's one of the best brandies you'll ever try. Also try it with some dried yak meat.

Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu is a beautiful city with a touch of modernization, but exploring the Newa community with their festival culture and dance will expose you to a different, but equally beautiful, side of the Kathmandu valley. The three major jatras celebrated in the Kathmandu valley are Indra jatra in Kathmandu, Biska jatra in Lalitpur, and Gai jatra in Bhaktapur, where we can see huge 'Rath yatra",music, crowds, gods and everything. During Indrajatra in Kathmandu, the living goddess Kumari can also be seen. Swayambhunath and Boudhanath are two majestic stupas you don't want to miss in Kathmandu. Beside those Changunarayan temple, one of the oldest temple of Nepal, Kritipur with its different culture and food and newar community there is some different experience. Boudhanath, a spectacular stupa in mandala shape, is also a world heritage site, as is nearby Swayambhunath. Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal's holiest and oldest temple, is also a masterpiece of architecture and a world heritage site.

National Parks of Nepal

The Terai's two national parks, Bardia National Park and Chitwan National Park, are famous for a variety of animals, birds, and reptiles, but the great One-horned Rhino and Royal Bengal Tiger are the main draws. You can book a jungle safari in National Park to track those animals and maybe even spot a tiger. A rhino is frequently seen here, but you may also get a chance to see a tiger. Some national parks in himalaya region, Shey Phoskundo and Rara are as beautiful as heaven and Shivapuri National park bordering Kathmandu is near and beautiful place for short hikes and starting point of many famous trekking routes.
